African-American Church Development Ministry

MISSION

The African-American Church Development Ministry functions as a means to provide leadership for the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware in the development and implementation of its strategy for ministry involving African-Americans.

OBJECTIVES

  • To develop a healing ministry for pastoral and individual church families.
  • To assist in training African-American churches in effective evangelism strategies.
  • To develop a process for African-American churches to partner together and to embrace mission opportunities in more effective ways.
  • To provide a means by which African-American churches can partner in sharing innovative ideas that enhance the kingdom.
  • To assist the convention program organization in equipping African-Americans through church development training.
