Grief and Bereavement Seminar

There are times of joy and times of sorrow that touch ministry.  Most of the time we know how to deal with the joy!  But what about the times of sorrow, grief and bereavement?  How do we face these issues in our ministry to help children and parents during this difficult time in their lives?

Someone said, "Life is brief, however, death is not a wall but a doorway."

Come join us as Denise Watterson leads the Grief and Bereavement seminar where she will share how to help those who are grieving, walk through the healing process.

Guest Speaker:  Denise Watterson, Bereavement Coordinator with Hospice of Frederick County where she has worked for the past eight years.  She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Master's in Human Sciences with a concentration in Thanatology from Hood College.  She is certified through the Association of Death Educators and Councelors.
