There are times of joy and times of sorrow that touch ministry.  Most of the time we know how to deal with the joy!  But what about the times of sorrow, grief and bereavement?  How do we face these issues in our ministry to help children and parents during this difficult time in their lives?

 Scott Humston nationally known Christian entertainer, Scott Humston, will be in our church presenting exciting and unique programs that are fun, informative, inspirational and Christ-honoring! The magic that Scott Humston does bears no similarity to the type of magic of which the Bible speaks. Scott Humston uses sleight-of-hand skill and illusion to produce astounding and entertaining effects...and wonderfully uses them to honor and glorify Christ.

This is a very interactive, hands-on day, including time to practice the spiritual practices we call "ordinary attempts." Many people tell us that they feel validated and empowered, having discovered that God "counts" what they already do.
