PERSONAL STATEMENT
I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at the age of twelve and was baptized into the fellowship of the Front Street Baptist Church, Statesville, North Carolina. From that day forward, I began to sense God's special leading in my life and the direction I should take in His service. While I resisted the Lord's leadership for my vocational direction, I later came to the point of total surrender to His will and the subsequent entrance into seminary.
As I continue to strive to be open to His will, I am committed to help the church better become what Christ would have it be. I desire to be where God is and to be active in what He is doing so that people can be reached for Christ, be discipled, and discover fulfillment in serving our Lord.
