WORK EXPERIENCE

2006 – Current Greater Emmanuel M.B.C Detroit, MI
Associate/Asst. Youth Pastor: Presented and divided the Word of God to the youth. Conducted the pulpit as directed by the pastor

2000 – 2006 Ephesus Full Gospel Baptist Detroit, MI
Youth/Protocol Pastor: Was responsible for a group of 75 youth and five youth leaders. Coordinated and organized annual Vacation Bible School, a youth worship team, a drama team, and provided stability and healing to a youth ministry that suffered spiritual and emotional hurt in the past. Motivated leaders to continue the work of the ministry. Hosted weekly Tuesday and Friday night youth services and monthly youth talkback sessions. Initiated and conducted worship service in a timely manner as granted by pastor.

1986 – 2000 Beth- Eden Missionary Baptist Detroit, MI
Associate/Youth Minister: I was responsible for overseeing youth and teen choir rehearsals, taught senior teen Sunday school, assisted with facilitating annual youth day services.

VISION

My vision of the church is to impact the people of God in and out of the church. To provide a solid foundation in the Word (2 Tim 2: 15). To create an atmosphere for every soul both young and seasoned. Put the church in position to go to the next level in ministry including relocation to our “promise land” Joshua 4

My personal vision is to be a bible believing husband, father, son and friend. To be an example to the unsaved as well as the saved. To finish my education in ministry which includes obtaining my Masters in Theology within the next (5) years.

BIOGRAPHY

My Fiancé, Sharra, we have a planned date to get married May 16, 2009. Sharra graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Masters in Public Administration. I have (1) son Delvon who is nine years of age from a previous relationship. I am an avid reader, enjoy playing video games, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
