Personal Biography of

Rev. Paul David Larrimore

Rev. Paul David Larrimore was born on December 24, 1958 in Baltimore Maryland. Raised in a Christian home, he came to accept Christ as his personal savior May of 1971 at the Riverside Baptist Church in South Baltimore, through the ministry of Rev. Orion T. Rhoades from Pennsylvania during a two week revival held at Riverside Baptist Church.

Rev. Ernest Lassahn was pastor and formed a close relationship mentoring him through his early teen years knowing of his call and desire for pastoral ministry. Much of which reflects today in his personal ministry. During 1975, he and his family moved to the Lee Street Memorial Baptist Church. Many fond memories remain of his days in the SBC, summers at RA Camp, and retreats at Camp Wo-Me-To

Paul began preaching at 16, preaching his first real sermon at Lee Street Memorial Baptist Church during a youth Sunday there while Rev. Harry Hoback was serving as interim pastor. Rev. James Brinkley, a missionary at the Kathleen Mallory Center also was a great contributor as two youth rallies were conducted at the center during this time that Paul and several young people organized to reach kids in the area.

In 1977 Paul entered Bible College and Seminary through extension studies from the Southern Bible College and Seminary while working as a youth pastor in an area independent church. This led to his ministry while still strongly doctrinally Southern Baptist, ministering in many independent churches and thus launched him into independent ministry. He was Licensed to preach by the Sailor’s Bethel Church in Baltimore, and Ordained by the American Ministerial Association, a group of independent churches and ministers. His Ordination was later recognized by a Southern Baptist Church, upon his return to the Southern Baptist Ministry after many years as an independent minister.

Pastoring several churches in the Maryland area, doing itinerant revival work, and radio evangelism, he met and married his wife Margaret. His wife has also served not only as a pastor’s wife, but also has a ministry to abused women stemming from her experiences in her younger years that Christ saw her through. She is a much enjoyed and sought women’s speaker and teacher, especially in ministering to younger women.

They have two grown children, a son John and daughter Holly a grandson Nathan and grand-daughter Makehla, and new grand-daughter Adrianna Mackenzie.
