BCMD is committed to helping Maryland/Delaware Baptists become personally involved in a worldwide disciple-making enterprise. Jesus left the church His final instruction, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem , and in all Judea and Samaria , and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8

Through our office for World Missions and Partnerships we want to help connect you and your church with mission opportunities locally, throughout Maryland/Delaware, throughout the United States and Canada , and throughout the World. This is to assist you in meeting our Lord’s challenge in Acts 1:8.

Partnerships offer you the greatest amount of support on the mission field. Partnerships offer ready-made opportunities for you. They also offer the possibility of mission partners coming your way to help your church achieve its mission locally. Our partnerships with other areas usually last from 3-6 years, with the possibility of extending your personal partnership even longer. Currently we have partnerships with Baltimore, Mississippi , Impact Northeast, Mexico , the Middle East ,Scotland, and West Africa. Several of our churches and associations have extended their partnerships with Canada and Moldova. As each partnership ends we try to add a new one. Our newest partnership is with the unreached people groups of West Africa.

Because we believe that the Lord calls different believers to different places, we offer support to you and your church to go “wherever He leads...” Unfortunately, we can not offer the amount of support that is available through our Partnerships. But we will do all we can to help you go on mission for the Lord, as a church or as an individual, to wherever He may lead you.

We offer help with finding opportunities, communicating with the mission field, training for mission trips, securing passports, visas, insurance, airline tickets, local transportation, lodging, food, interpreters, foreign language literature, and many other things.
